We believe that sport participation is essential for all our learners and therefore everybody takes part in our twice-weekly sport period. Learners are divided into groups according to their age and abilities. Sports include Athletics, Cross Country, Netball, Softball, Soccer, and Swimming. Learners are selected to participate in the Summer, Winter and Development Games as well as the Special Sport Day.

Eureka School strives to guide the learners in the different culture activities like poetry, dancing, singing and roleplay. We want to cultivate a love and pride for their culture. We strive to develop their talents and assist them to be socially accepted. They are given the opportunity to participate in Art Festivals and Revues. To spice up the life of our school we organise special events for the learners on a regular basis including outings, school and hostel dances, “boeresport”, fun day and a prestige evening.
chess
Chess is offered by the school to interested learners. Eureka takes part in chess tournaments in both LSEN & mainstream categories. These tournaments includes district as well as provincial levels.
